Lookout Search

Posted by Ryan Sarver under: Technology .

I know I am way behind on this, but I just got around to installing and testing out Lookout for Outlook. It is the search technology that Microsoft just recently bought up to integrate into their upcoming Outlook releases.

It adds Gmail-like searches right to your Outlook interface. It even allows you to do some fairly advanced searches which used to take me a long time to recreate in the current Outlook search.

I always find myself looking for the most recent emails from a specific person which means that I need to resort the columns, which takes Outlook forever to redraw when you have thousands of emails.

In other news I just got notified that I will be on the JotSpot beta. I requested that I be able to post my reviews here. Regardless, I am excited to check out the software… it looks very promising.
