Om on The New Land of Opportunity

I read over Om’s terrific article about the new Global Economy in the latest Business 2.0 and thought it was incredibly insightful and gave a great point of view that I, as an American, would not have been privy to. I guess he has been taking tons of heat for it and even appeared on CNNfn to defend it.

He essentially is saying that all of the money going over to India isn’t for naught, as their new middle class has $420 Billion to spend, and guess whose products they spend it on… that’s right, American. So we need to quit bitching and turn lemons into lemonade. Those who don’t adapt fail, and outsourcing isn’t going away any sooner than the Japanese car makers…
